- Ralph Fry Allen, 82 of 326 Market St, Williamsport, died in Turtle Creek Convalescent Center, Lafayette Friday Feb 18. He was born at Wallace May 1, 1894, the son of Thomas & Elvira Riley Allen. He was married on Dec 5, 1916 to Susie Ratcliff, who survives. Mr. Allen was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Hedrick. He was a retired farmer. He attended school at Wallace and had been a resident of Warren County since 1932. Surviving with the widow are four sons, Rex of Romney; Gene of Lafayette; John of Crawfordsville and Thornton of Williamsport; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Eileen) Hancock of Lafayette; a brother, Jess of Alamo; a sister, Mrs. Theo Hogle of Rushville; 14 grandchildren and one great. Funeral services were held at Maus Funeral Home in Attica, Monday morning with Rev. Melvin Nead officiating. Burial was in Rainsville Cemetery, Warren county. - kbz

Ralph Fry Allen, 82, of Williamport, Ind., died Friday, Feb. 18, 1977 at the Turtle Creek Convalescent Center in Lafyette. Born May 1, 1894 in Wallace, Ind., he was the son of Thomas and Elvire Riley Allen. He married Susie Ratcliff on Dec. 5, 1916, in Rockville, and she survives. He was a retired farmer and lived in Warren County since 1933. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Hedrick. Other survivors include four sons, Rex of Romney, Gene of, Lafayette, John of Crawfordsville and Thornton of Williamsport Rt. 1; one daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Eileen) Hancock of Lafayette; one brother, Jess Alamo; one sister, Mrs. Theo Hogle of Rushville; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
